Classes & One Day Experiences
From bread to fresh pasta and more, learn to cook, homemade, all from scratch in our intimate, hands-on cooking classes or in a small group, one-day, experiential event!
Classes run from September to May, when we are not touring. Our government inspected, teaching kitchen is located North of Guelph, Ontario and the address will be provided with your registration. The kitchen is open for classes and by appointment only. We do not operate a retail store.

Guelph Brewery & Wood-fired Pizza Tour
We love Italian food culture and anything local that pairs well with Italian food is worth a visit, a taste and celebrating!
Guelph, Ontario is one of Canada’s original “Beer towns”… with award winning beer being produced here as early as 1834 and now with 5 commercial brewers all located in this picturesque, Southern Ontario city, I call home!
The local breweries along with the local food producers are the backbone of this tour. You will learn about small, craft beer production and sample many different types of Craft Beer. But, you will also learn to make an amazing antipasto platter with locally produced products. Learn how a Pizzaiolo bakes a pizza in an authentic, Italian, wood-fired oven and finally the secrets to authentic, Sicilian cannoli!

Taste of Niagara Wine Country
Our first stop at Inniskillin Wines at the Brae Burn Estate will includes a short tour with sparkling ice wine, followed by a charcuterie antipasto with a choice of unlimited red or white wine.
Then enjoy the region’s seasonal and local ingredients as part of a 5-course hands-on cooking class guided by Inniskillin Chef Tim. Enjoy lunch with wine pairings and dessert with ice wine. Recipes included.
After this wonderful afternoon of cooking and wine tasting we will stop for coffee at a local coffee shop and then start the trek home! (espresso, cappuccino, tea, your choice included).

Saturday’s with Natalina
This full-day experience will have you living like an Italian with Natalina as your guide! We will start with a light Italian style breakfast in a local, downtown Guelph coffee bar and then off to the Farmer’s Market to shop for our local, seasonal ingredients.
Back at the cooking school, we will prepare bread, a 4-course “Pranzo” including dessert and a small canning, preserving or cheese project to take home!

Specialty Three Hour Workshops
These are three hours in length and include some “hands on” instruction as well as in depth information about ingredients and products used. At least three recipes are included and an informal tasting of everything made. There may be some take home samples. Bring your own beverage as desired. Classes are Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings with a limit of ten students per class. We require a minimum of six students to run a class.

Interactive Dining
The classes below are all four hours in length, with only 8-10 participants each and create a hands-on cooking experience. Each menu includes a grazing station with fresh bread, charcuterie and cheese.
Enjoy your freshly cooked dinner accompanied by mineral water, espresso coffee and dessert. We encourage you to take advantage of our no corkage fee and bring your own bottle of wine. There is a minimum of six people required to run these classes. These could be run as a private event with limited dates available with two to four months advance notice.

Corporate & Private Groups
Due to the growth of our tours, interest in our specialty classes, and our new online classes, private and corporate classes are no longer being offered. Consider booking an entire class of 10 for your group. With ample notice, you may choose to change the class type once you’ve registered your group.
Missed Class Policy
We are a small, intimate school and classes sellout fast. Our classes/ events are like a concert. Once you have a ticket we plan based on ticket sales and no longer market that place. Specialty ingredients can be ordered weeks in advance from our suppliers based on ticket sales. For this reason you may send someone in your place only if you cannot make your class/event. This is common policy in small schools. We cannot provide refunds or makeups for missed classes/events.

We are a small cooking school that may not be able to accommodate all special requests for allergies, intolerances. Please email us first, to see if we can accommodate, before registering, as we have a No Refund policy.
